“The Backstory”
Kim was instilled with her values and work ethic while growing up in a small farming and ranching community in Southern Oregon. As a child and young adult, she spent time at her father’s veterinary hospital and assisted him as he worked with the local ranchers and farmers. After deciding to pursue a career in health care, she moved to San Antonio, Texas. Though Kim loved experiencing the people and culture in Texas, she ultimately missed the outdoor lifestyle and overall quality of life in the Northwest. After discovering Boise during a visit with friends, she finally landed back out west in the beautiful Treasure Valley. To Kim, Boise offered the best of both worlds as it has the intimate small town feel of her hometown, with the cosmopolitan flair of a larger city. The quality of life for her family, huge range of outdoor activities, and friends and neighbors she has come to know and love over the years constantly remind her how lucky she is to live in Boise, Idaho.
These life experiences are what eventually motivated Kim to pursue a career in real estate. Her many years as a health care provider had honed her skills of compassion, listening and relationship building, but she had always been drawn to real estate. When she decided to make the changes, she was able to combine these skills with a career that she is deeply passionate about.
